          It was just another day for Howard and Vince until their friend Naboo receives shocking news from a shadowy government authority on his home planet of Xooberon - he must get married or be executed.
          
          When Howard volunteers to marry Naboo and save his life, there's just one problem: Howard and Vince have been avoiding each other ever since that one night when they kissed. Now they're travelling to an alien world together, forced to pretend their complicated feelings don't exist.
          
          Naboo's mentor Dennis is suspicious, the wedding trials are perilous and keeping up the charade is getting harder by the minute. Can Howard and Vince survive preparations for the big fat intergalactic wedding without confronting what's really between them?
          
          A space fantasy queer romance absurdist comedy about fake relationships, second chances, and the things we do for the people we love.

Just finished reading "Vanished" by @Voyageavecmoi, which made the Shortlist in the 2023 Open Novella Contest. It's a murder mystery in a beautiful wintry Canadian setting, where a surprise encounter with a stranger on a bus leads down a twisting, turning path on the hunt for a serial killer. Expect the unexpected!!!! Rated MATURE.

Happy to announce that "Between Life and Death" won the prize for Fantasy Romance in the 2025 LOTSA Awards for romantic fiction! I've had trouble convincing people that this is a Fantasy story because it's set in the 1990s and there's no dragons, but it's  very romantic Romance. I laughed and cried writing this, and I have been reliably informed that reading it can heal your soul! I've just finished reading "Ring. Sister. Piano." by @obliviablack, the fourth book in The Powder Trail series. If you've been reading this too, you'll know it's filled with thrilling action and we finally get some ANSWERS! (Also more questions!) It's both the darkest and most disturbing book in the series and the most wholesome and heartwarming. It's rated MATURE for adult themes, sexual content and dark fantasy. Cannot recommend this series highly enough!!!!   ✨✨✨

@words_for_food is a wonderful author of teen fiction with complex characters who undergo emotional changes. "A New Dawn" adds even greater depth and maturity to her body of work. This is a wholesome story about the importance of choices and belief in yourself, with a diverse set of characters and a fascinating parallel novel that you are going to want to read by the end!!!!! ✨✨✨

Just finished reading "Love in Lavender and Lace" by @writergirl81, a Victorian-era historical romance between a noblewoman and her ladies maid. It's rated MATURE and is spicy, not smutty. If you love queer romance and drama, give it a try!
