bit also like that brings us to the debate of whether it’s ok to listen to the stolen versions of things?? like not streaming them on repeat but just listening to one stolen song, because from like a financial perspective, i don’t mind at all giving not even a tenth of a cent to someone else, and taylor’s also a billionaire so it’s not like it’s going to matter from a financial perspective, but from a philosophical perspective, not listening to the stolen versions is kind of a statement, and the action within itself is kind of just standing with taylor and recognizing that what happened with her masters wasn’t ok at all. so idk, i’m kind of having an internal debate because i’m so glad taylor is able to reclaim her music, but i also feel a certain nostalgia for this album that i don’t think the taylor’s version will totally satisfy (not the right word but idk how else to say it) so idk.

1989 tv is out and honestly i don’t know how to feel?? i didn’t know fearless, red, or speak now when their re-records were released but 1989 is an album i know every detail of and that i hold so dear to my heart, and ig i didn’t realize all of the minor differences would bother me so much?? because with the others i didn’t really know what to expect but with this one i’m noticing all of the backing vocals in different places and inflections in different places but like idk. i’m sure it’ll grow on me since i haven’t gotten to the vault tracks yet, and it’s only been out for like 25 mins so i’ll probably be fine with everything once i’ve gotten used to it, and probably once i’ve gotten some sleep

i just went to the eras tour movie for the second night in a row and my voice is not ok- but i got a ton of bracelets so that’s good
