Last year when I wrote my last update, I decided to re-write GnR during my short break at work LOL-- would you look at that, it's been a year wowie! Hi guys, how are you all doing?

Well, work is one thing that has always never failed at keeping me busy. And, not sure if it's just me but the push for AI in creative space is slowly getting on my nerves. At work, all my bosses are promoting the use of AI to write even their LinkedIn posts-- "Oh my Gemini has been trained to write like me" HELLO!? ARE YOU HEARING YOURSELF LOL

It truly takes even more than before to motivate one self to draw or to write a chapter these days, knowing deep down your work might not be as polished as that of an AI that churns output as immediately as blinking your eyes. At every turn, you get tempted to take the shortcut, to do it the "easy way".

Despite all this, I still sincerely hope each of us is reminded of the joy we feel from creating something ourselves. I, too, will try my best to write with my own words, learn from my mistakes and keep growing as the creator I am.

Hey peeps, I am in the midst of rewriting the chapters of GnR I have published so far - no significant plot changes... just tying some loose ends (like what happened to the motorbike and helicopter in the first chapter LOL and things like that) and cleaning my grammar. I would like to think I have a better writing style now, so I am actually having a hard time to publish the newest chapter knowing that my older chapters have this weird-ass voice from my first writing experience as a non-native English speaker.

I am still gonna keep the field-cum-garden because that is always going to be funny to me.

I can only hear Fifty Fifty's Cupid in my head these days.

I wrote on my feed about 3-4 years ago that I hate when people keep coming up with new fics but never finish them, but I gotta be honest with you I'm itching to write something else. I have saved so many ideas for the many fandoms I'm in and it hurts not to write them LOL. I will see how I can juggle them. I have been wanting to move on to a drabble-y style so who knows... I might as well just do it and call myself a hypocrite haha.

lmao at this rate even if I tell yall that I have 3000 words in a draft it won't automatically translate to "next update real soon", but I swear to yall that I'm writing. I'm in need of a good outside-work habit to establish a healthy work-life balance lol.
