how can people be so fucking stupid as to vote a racist, misogynistic, convicted felon into federal office just because “he says he’ll lower prices.” actually fuck everyone who voted red this election because it wasn’t just a vote for trump, it was a vote against women, against immigrants, against the lgbtq+ community, against people of color. it was a vote to set us back as a nation and i can’t believe that people were too blind to realize that

ok but hunger games story where she’s from district one and her parents dedicated their lives to train her for the games but her dad starts getting sick and his last wish was to see her win so she volunteers at 13 so he would get to see her compete except the other tributes have no idea she’s trained bc they’ve never seen her at the academy before so they just think she has a death wish and when she gets into the arena they plan to kill her but she sets off like a blood bath and finishes the games with the highest kill count but when she gets back to district one her dad is already dead and he died before she was even in the arena so she just killed all those people for nothing.

but the capital has made it out to seem like they treated her dad after she won and he’s been alive this whole time and then in some argument with one of the above people while they’re in d13 the truth comes out and they learn that the guy they’ve believed was her father was just some actor snow paid to keep the facade of the capital medicine being super advanced and that she never actually got to see her dad post win bc he died the day she left and now she has to live with the regret of fulfilling his final wishes but missing his last moments

and then she has some fabric name bc district one and finnick or katniss or johanna is like going on about how horrible of a person she is and then they start making fun of her name and like cashmere or gloss overhears and is like her father named her after the dress her mother wore on their wedding day and they’re like who gives a shit and keep fucking around with it then the reruns of her games are on and they see her interview about how bad her fathers health was and about how all he ever wanted was to see her win and how even if it was a few years earlier than she’d hoped that she was going to do that one last thing for him
