My name is Ellis Hughes, and my Consilium series is the culmination of ten years of writing work, with Consilium being the first of five sci-fi epics. 

Set in a present that is very much different than our own, my series explores the socio-political aspects of life lived with extraterrestrials from a view, not from the top of the world, but from the ground. From the individuals whose everyday lives have been forever changed when we learned that we aren't alone. 

Follow my characters through their journeys to find out what their place in the galaxy really is.
