how many days has passed?  he's lost count,  the shake to his is met with the prompted palms which held her temples.  trouble features,  accompanied by fear of the unknown.  is this..  the same person he knew?  is ▇▇▇▇..  even human?

Eventually, the academy gave him the name Lucien. It wasn’t that it belonged to him, but it was an alias for a soul that deserved to be named. To this day, he wanders between the borders of the academy, inside the school, and all the way to the outskirts of the woods. Now, he unexplainably guides those who are lost to the ever-changing forest, while some are still unfortunate to stumble upon the academy. Whenever he encounters the companion, and those he knew as ████,  a sense of familiarity stirs inside. However, with a missing head, it also takes away the memories of his past and the recognition that comes along with it.

Long before anyone has truly known him, Lucien wandered the endless woods on the outskirts of Blackwood Concord Academy. With his companion, the two were hopelessly lost inside the forest surrounding the school.  Every path was twisted, landmarks vanished, and it seemed like the place could move on its own. One night amidst the silence,   ████  had gotten separated. while he searched desperately, the only voice which answered was his own echo. instead of being found by his friend, he was faced with something far more drastic. in days, it would take his body to rise once more, reanimated by the unnatural abilities that permeate throughout the forest. ████  had returned as a headless rider, an entity bound to the place that consumed him. only a faint sensation remained, one which was to wander the trails of the forest, in search of an aching emptiness which the entity could not explain.
