I just want to let you know that I’m changing my username. :)) Because I really wanted something with deeper meaning. Above all, I want the writing talent God blessed me with to praise Him, share His words and act as a bridge to convey His love to you.
After months of praying, I am officially changing my username to elroiselah. It combines two beautiful biblical concepts:
El Roi (Genesis 16:13) means "The God who sees me." When Hagar was hopeless in the desert, God met her right where she was to remind her she wasn't forsaken.
Selah appears over 70 times in Psalms as a musical direction to pause, stop singing and let the listeners breathe in the serene moment.
Together, elroiselah carries a message I want to extend to each of you:
“Beneath the ragings of the sea, the Light above still looks on thee. Pause for a breath, find anchor here and let His letter draw you near.”
I want my stories to remind you that God sees you, inviting you to pause and rest in His love. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Life just got an unexpected twist for me this week, so I wasn't able to keep up with my productivity. But at least I got to publish three chapters this week, right? ... I really need to finish this up as soon as possible, now that my freshman year is about to start.

Pagbati para sa kaarawan ng ating dakilang bayani at manunulat na si Gat Jose Rizal!
Nawa'y ang makahulugang tinta ng kaniyang panulat ay manatili sa bawat pahina ng ating kasalukuyan nang maitatak sa isipan ng bawat Pilipino ang kahalagahan at kadakilaan ng kaniyang mga akda. Mga nobelang naging daan upang mamulat ang mga nagbubulag-bulagan at makarinig ang nagbibingi-bingihan.
Bilang isang manunulat, nawa'y pahalagahan din natin ang ating bayaning manunulat. Gawin din nating inspirasyon ang kaniyang mga makasaysayang nobela na siyang nagsimula sa istorya patungo sa kalayaang ipinaglaban ng ating mga ninuno. Sana'y ang bawat libro ay maging palatandaan na ang pagsusulat ay higit pa sa paglikha ng kathang-isip lamang, bagkus ay isang makapangyarihang instrumento upang bigyang tinig ang pipi, bigyang pagtanggap ang mga isyung nakakubli. Ang pagsusulat ay higit pa sa pagbibigay ng maaaring ikawiwili ng mga mambabasa, kundi ito ay ang pagpapalabas ng saloobin at pagiging matapang na isulat ang mga salitang mahirap isatinig.
Muli ay isang makasaysayang pagpupuri para sa kaarawan ng ating dakilang bayani!

Who's still awake right now? Anyway, I just want to announce that #HDYFIL35 is out now!!! I know, this author is... kind of productive this week. Honestly, I'm really proud of myself for being able to write a chapter within just a few hours. I hope you will check my new update. We're close to the end of Kaleb and Hyacinth's journey, but we are also currently at the peak of their story. :))
