@elynoire hello my friend, I'm a huge fan of that story, the dynamics of yume and douma are very nice and remind me of meruem and komugi from hunter x hunter
            
            Douma is most misunderstood character in demon slayer, the author had to give him more time, his parents literally used him to earn money by saying some bullshit because of his rainbow eyes, and when they died, those mental scars left in douma's sanity, in this term he's very similar to kanao, who also has been raised that way she became apathetic as well, and yet she thought she was something special than douma because she got more lucky, and mocked him for inability to feel emotions which is huge shame on her, the only thing that makes them different is that kanao got lucky to find someone who understood and helped her, if douma was also lucky enough to find someone who also could understand him, then he could live a normal life and able to feel emotions, and muzan wouldn't even turn him into demon, because the reason he turned douma into a demon was because of his emptiness, too bad that most of people refuse to understand this, he's been called most evil because of his apathy,  and they literally ignore hantengu who's even being human killed lot of innocent people and didn't felt any guilt, instead he pretended to be victim and said that it's only his hands, not him, and when he became a demon he became even more twisted and worse
            Gyokko, hantengu and muzan > douma in evilness
