Secret WIP update: I've been working on something a little different over the last six months. A romance. A werewolf romance. With spice.
          
          BUT. I've written this novel completely off line. I love getting feedback on Wattpad, but I've been finding that I let it change a lot of what I have planned. This time? The story is written. It's done. 
          
          If you like reading what I write, it's available on Inkitt (trialing a new platform for this one). If you're waiting for updates on my wattpad WIPs, they'll be a bit more sporadic as I get back into the right mindset to edit/finish them :)

Due to the twin's first adventure with croup, I was unable to get the last of the Longsword Lullaby out before the ONC deadline. I'll try to get the unedited ending up within the next few weeks!

Hi Laurel, you are a great writer! was reading ‘then comes Murder’ it’s a getting interesting and I noticed it’s incomplete. Would you be posting more chapters on WA? The last update was in 2022.

          I just finished reading your story The Strongest Woman in the World vs a Colicky Infant and I loved it so much! Your writing is amazing I was completely drawn into Reyna’s world, from her epic battles to her hilarious (and heartwarming) struggles with her tiny, squishy tyrant. The way you balanced her fierce warrior spirit with her vulnerability as a new mom was so compelling. I couldn’t stop imagining how cool it would look as a comic!
          
          The scene where Reyna paces the cottage, muttering lullabies while her armor gathers dust in the corner, was so vivid. And the way you described her shifting emotions from frustration to tenderness as the baby finally settles against her chest was just perfect. I could already see it as a beautifully illustrated panel, with Reyna’s red braid escaping as she holds her little one close.
          
          I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d love to draw your story into a comic. No pressure, of course—I just think your work would look absolutely stunning in comic form. Despite a new job, infant twins, and barely enough time to write, I've decided to try participating in ONC again this year! We're going in a slightly different direction than my usual writing (the tongue-in-cheek humor will still be there), and take a stab at cozy fantasy. Since it's new for me, I'd love any and all feedback :)

Love love love good works! Will Oleander be updated anytime soon? I thought I once read it was on Kindle Vella but I can’t find it- I would love to read it on there if it’s easier but I don’t see it. Hope you are doing well!
