Hi! I’ve decided to unpublish Book #1: Dancing With Tangled Feet for the time being.
I’ve been thinking about the story for a while, and I realized there are parts of it that I didn’t give enough time to. Especially Ynah and Ello.
Looking back, I feel like I never really got the chance to properly introduce them—not just as characters who move the story forward, but as people with their own thoughts, fears, little habits, flaws, and reasons for becoming who they are. There’s still so much of them that I want to explore, and I think the story deserves that extra time too.
Because of this, the revised version will probably have a few additional chapters and some added scenes along the way. Some moments might be longer, some might be rewritten, and there are certain parts I want to slow down and let them breathe.
But the ending will stay the same.
I don’t want to change where the story ends. I just want to give it a little more road to get there.
I want the ending to feel more meaningful because we’ve spent more time with Ynah and Ello, getting to know them, understanding them, and walking beside them before reaching that final page.
Thank you to everyone who has read it, supported it, or simply stayed curious about the story. I’m beyond grateful for each and everyone of you.
For now, I’ll be stepping away from the dance floor for a little while and go back to the beginning, retrace every step and find the moments that deserve a little more time.
And when the music starts again, I hope we can return to it together. Maybe the steps won’t be perfect, and maybe their feet will still get tangled, but I hope this time, we’ll understand a little more of why they kept dancing. ❤️
I’ll see you again when the pages are ready.
For now, let me untangle these feet a little more. ❤️
with love,
em <3
