I just posted my first story on Wattpad! It's a very quick read. Will you please let me know what you think? I'd be so grateful! Here's the link: http://my.w.tt/UiNb/4ox8WLzcjw

@MS_Chavez I've never spent too much time on Wattpad but I'm trying to get the hang of how it works. :)

@MS_Chavez Thanks! That was illuminating. :)

@emepps The changes have been good and bad to be honest. For example, I LOVE the new stats and demographics I get for my stories.
There have been changes to the look and feel of the site though, that I'm not as thrilled with. It looks nicer, but I miss that the library isn't as visible because that used to be how you found good stories. You'd go to an author you liked and basically went through their recommendations to discover other good authors.
You can still do that now but it's kind of been stuffed in a corner.
I also miss the chat bar feature, but that's not Wattpad's fault. Meebo is just gone.
As for the good, Wattpad has gotten better with community outreach, or at least they had when I'd last been active. When I started it was just a few volunteer mods and users organizing all my favorite contests and groups. Now we've got nice profiles for sci-fi, etc that seem to be backed by Wattpad officially.
Over all, it's just a different site in a lot of ways. When I joined it was much smaller and easy to get readers. Now, the social aspect is a little more difficult in my opinion.

@emepps Huh. Now I'm really curious what the changes have been, and whether you think they were good or not. Can you appease my curiosity briefly (either here or on FB)?
