hi!! i'm back!! thank you so much for 40k+ reads on the falls. it means the world to me that, after all of these years, people are stills enjoying my stories. 
          
          i've been working on an angsty doctor/rose mini-fic that i really think that you'll all like. i want to perfect it before i post it, but i was thinking about making it the first chapter of many in a book of doctor who oneshots.  anyway, i'm sorry for the inactivity!! 
          
          additionally, i do intend on continuing an island tale. i have so many ideas. even though i stopped watching the vampire diaries years ago and would go as to say that i hate it, i still love lost, and caroline and klaus have perfect chemistry that i love writing about.

oh hey! guess who's back? that's right, it's mandy! i don't have an excuse for my hiatus. i've been really busy. i started eleventh grade and i've been flooded with driver's exam prep, sat/act studying, and tons of school work. this has been the craziest year of my life so far. i've been writing a lot of personal stories, but fanfiction has pretty much been out of the picture. i want to start writing it again, however, so hopefully i'll find the time.

update: i finally have found the motivation to continue writing!! the next chapter is on its way. i finished it a while ago, but i'm such a perfectionist that i'm going to need to check it over a few times. i promise that i will try my best to post the next chapter by tomorrow night. i honestly feel so terrible because i keep promising to finish it but i haven't. the truth of the matter is, i haven't written an actual story in a while. this summer, i took a screenwriting class, so i'm used to not adding in so many details and it's really taking a toll on my writing. i'm trying to get back into the hang of the things, love you guys!!

hi, i'm totally sorry for not completing your critiques or posting the next chapter like i promised, once again. i was very sick today, and my head was hurting so much that i couldn't look at the computer screen. that being said, tomorrow is only a day away, and i promise to do what i said i'd do. ilysm.

update: the next chapter of "an island tale" is going to be posted tomorrow. i've been super busy, but i have no plans tomorrow so i'll be able to finish it!! be excited, be very excited.
