It is so sad and disgusting to see what is going on around the world, especially in the United States. Sad to see so many innocent lives being taken. Disgusting to see that very few people of power are taking action, justice is not being served. This should have ended years ago but I have a strong feeling that this won't stop until something gets done, until equality is established. And it's disgusting that people are saying that if they don't like it here, they can leave or that all lives matter. Firstly, they are Americans, they have every right to be there. They also have every right to protest and deserve equality. It shouldn't even be because they're Americans, it should be because they are HUMAN BEINGS. It shouldn't matter what the colour of your skin is, your age, your religion, your gender, your sexuality, EVERYONE deserves equality and NO ONE deserves to be treated this way, NO ONE deserves to be killed just because of something they can't control or who they are. Which brings me to my next point, to those saying "All lives matter", I completely agree with you. ALL lives matter. It's the same with feminists and the LGBTQ+ Community, they don't want more power than you, they just want to be equal, they want to be a part of the statement that all lives matter. I'm not sure if that makes sense, it's hard to express the emotions that I (and many people around the world) are feeling properly. I am a white, Protestant Catholic girl, but that doesn't mean that I don't care or that I don't agree with what they're saying. I am on their side, I strongly believe that justice must be served, not just for George but those who have lost their lives and for those who may lose theirs in the future. Something needs to be done NOW or else things will get so much worse. We need to come together, work together and get peace and equality together. Because black lives matter, all lives matter.
