why are people so mean? seriously, it’s like everyone just expects you to be perfect at all time. you can’t have bad days, you can’t be tired, you can’t be busy. nothing. the moment there’s a slip-up in your behavior, they go absolutely mental, even when you’re doing something that favors them too. it’s exhausting and tiring. people have their own life, their own problems, and just because you’re having a bad day too, or you’re tired, or you’re overstimulated, doesn’t mean you have to take it out on other people. it’s like there’s no more empathy left. please, be more understanding with other people. you never know what may be going on in this life. also, this is absolute shade to my co-worker, who embarassed me so much to the point i went home crying. please be nice :)

Hokey pokey, here it is. So y/n is the newly elected captain of the Hufflepuff team and it is the morning of her first game as captain (before she was a chaser but she didn't get noticed much because she didn't like attention). Mattheo underestimates her because he never noticed her before so he assumes she nothing to write home about, and is teasing and making fun of her a little before the game. Turns out she's actually really good (Hufflepuff wins) and after the game she goes up to Mattheo, not to gloat, but to be a gracious winner and offer to help him with some techniques he was struggling with (cause she's nice). Mattheo is shocked but begrudgingly accepts since he had been struggling a little. They start practicing together and while that's happening he starts to fall for her. Like I said grumpy x sunshine vibes. Let me know if anything still doesn't make sense.
