“I’ve learned how to be in the present.” Says the mole.
          “How?” Asked the boy.
“I find a quiet spot and shut my eyes and breathe.”
          “That’s good, and then?”
          “Then I focus.”
          “What do you focus on?”
          “Cake,” said the mole.

Alright, a bit of background first. The boy and the mole meet up with a fox caught in a snare. The fox threatens them, and the mole points out that the fox will die if he stays in the snare, so the mole frees him despite the previous threat.
After this, the mole says “one of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things.”

Ah yes our reaction is a great freedom! We can get hit with all kinds of bad things out of our control, but what we can control is how we deal with it! Good reminder ♥️
