HI SNOWFLAKES! What the hell is up? (and why was I so cringy as a 16 year old that I thought I could name my followers, like a genuine youtuber or something?)

Just thought I'd stop in and say hi, since I did just spend a bunch of time trying to regain my access to this account. How are you guys doing?

I think last we spoke, I was just starting my college career. I majored in creative writing, as was the plan. But, plot twist (pun intended) - I'm a poet now. If you're an OG fan, you'll remember my struggles writing DOTG... yeah, the writer's block didn't really stop. I've had a tough time writing fiction the past few years. Kinda had an identity crisis because I felt like I was no longer a writer. But it turns out, I was just done writing about fictional worlds for a while. I was able to get back into the groove of writing by being honest - by writing about myself, my life, my emotions, my history. I'm still engaging in this journey, and I'm loving it.

I'll be honest, I've NEVER been as productive as I was when I wrote PITG. But once a writer, always a writer. No, I haven't published anything. But I did work as a journalist in college. AND one of my poems was accepted to be a part of an anthology called Trigger Warning. It's a poetry collection written by womxn and gender nonconforming folks, all about the realities of mental health. There's no official release plan at this time, but if you follow @ wideeyespublishing and @ the.sadbitchchronicles on insta, you can keep an eye out for the release. They're a small lit magazine, so any support you can offer would be great. You can also follow their editor @ jeanmariebub.

I do have a lil bit of poetry on my instagram, @ hailey_ladonna. And I do have a few short stories from the past few years that I could post, if anyone's interested.

I loved PITG, but I have one question. Why were Willow and her mother described as poor when her mother is Madge Undersee - the mayor's daughter. Did something happen to the Undersees which led to losing favour?
