this just in, my mother is never going to respect mine or my partner’s they/she pronouns because she’s “too old and can’t wrap her head around it”. it’s great to know i’ll never be respected or that she’s never going to try for me. at least my middle sister tries but my youngest sister doesn’t. i hate being here. can’t wait for college in two years.

vent post about my parents
i am terrified that my parents are never going to acknowledge that i’m not their daughter. i’m their child. i’m non binary. i use she/they not just she and i’m not one of your girls. it’s hard to swallow but i wish they would respect it. i didn’t say anything cause i was relieved that they didn’t yell and dismiss and i was on the edge of a panic attack but i am so goddamn scared and and angry because they don’t even respect my partner’s pronouns are they ever going to respect mine? it’s hard at first but just try. my dad flat out said he won’t. i just want to be respected. is that too fucking much to ask for? or are you going to ignore my happiness forever?

update on my grandma for those who replied to my last post
she’s positive for covid and in the hospital but she’s getting plasma with antibodies today so hopefully that’ll help. thanks for the concern guys
