Tori's POV.
Jack and I mostly listened to the radio on the trip. But I got bored of the music and I wanted to talk to him. After all, he is my hero. And he's taking me somewhere. So I need to see if I can get some spoilers.
I felt around the car trying to find the radios button to turn it off. Jack laughed at me not bothering to help me. I finally found the button, and he kept laughing at me.
"What?" I asked folding my arms looking in his general direction. He laughed even more. Guess I wasn't actually looking at him. I rolled my eyes, not that he could see, and sat back in my seat.
"Okay, I'm calm now." He said holding in what little giggles he had left. "Your so nice." I said sarcastically. "Aren't I?" He said and giggled again. I finally broke into a smile since I couldn't stay mad at him.
"So. Describe the area to me. Since I can't see out the window." I said. But I guess the radio was blocking all the traffic noises, because honking and yelling and car mortars were to be heard. Loud and clear.
"I think you can guess." Jack laughed. I giggled. "Yeah. Okay..." I was thinking of a way to get him to tell me where we were going without asking him the direct question.
"Are there shops and stuff on the sides of the street or are we just on the freeway." I asked. "Freeway." He said. "So are we on a bridge?" I asked. "What is this twenty questions?" He laughed. "Well it's turning out to be. I'm just trying to draw an image in my mind of what it looks like out there." I said.
(It continues)
"Thanks again. Sorry if I was a blubbering mess." I said rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly. The teenager smirked and laughed a bit. I realized another one had joined her. They looked like twins.
"It's okay Tori." One of them said.
"Tell Mark we hope he's okay and sorry that Chica ran off." The other said and they snickered and ran off.
I laughed.
"Will do." I said. "Thank you again." I said to the mom she smiled and I walked off.
T- I FOUND HER ON MY WAY HOME NOW.

I laughed and walked with Chica back to the house.
"You little missy, cause us all much stress. V stress, much no pls." I laughed and rubbed her head.

I knocked on about 7 people's doors asking if they had seen Chica. None of them had seen her. I texted the groups chat again.
T- any luck?
M- no
Z- unfortunately
J- still trying.
T- dammit. I have a couple more houses to go around. After we finish the street we should move on to the neighborhood over.
M- okay.
Z- let's hope we don't have to
J- yeah
I knocked on a big White House that looked to have 2 stories. I stepped back and waited for an answer. The door opened revealing a tired looking mom and a teenager behind her.
"Hi, I'm so so sorry for bothering you. Um, my friend lost his dog, and we've looked everywhere. I was wondering if you have seen her? She's um.. she's sorta big about to here," I bent down and waved my hand down by my knee. "She's blonde and shaggy, she's got a um... she doesn't have a collar. But she's really calm. Big brown eyes. Her name is Chica.." I stumbled on my words and I was shaking. I didn't know what else's to say to explain this dog to these people.
"Oh... I'll go get her." The teenager said and rushed upstairs. My head snapped up. "Wha..." I started but didn't finish as Chica came bounding down the stairs and over to the door.
"Oh my god! Chica!" I exclaimed happily and bent down to pet her. She licked my face abd barked happily.
I rubbed her head and hugged her.
"Oh thank god." I sighed with relief. I stood up still petting Chica's head.
"Thank you so so much." I said. The teenager smiled along with the mom.
"Your welcome. We were gonna put up posters saying we found her." The mom said. I smiled.
