The beginning of Chapter 7 shows Hlengiwe being vulnerable and unable to simplest task such as taking a bath or a shower by her own. She is used to Nqobile bringing her bath water and tending to her.

Now back to her injury, when she fell, her bones were dislocated and due to that, a surgery was performed to insert a metal that would help pull the bones back together.

Nowadays, I'm inserting true life events into my stories to make them more authentic and somehow let you peep into my life.
This part of the story is very personal to me because the patient Doctor Mniki (Hlengiwe's doctor) mentioned is my mom. The same thing happened to her last year May. She was at the mall, tripped and fell. She downplayed the injury and walked home. She found out how intense the injury was later that day. She was very vulnerable. Few months later, her ankle still troubles her.

Now back to the story, Hlengiwe is still in the early stages of recovery. Her life will never get back to normal because of this. She gets dizzy spells from standing for more than 10 minutes or sitting down with her leg down for more than 30 minutes.

Now why I am writing this. A few readers were asking "where are the sexual scenes?" I can't imagine how impersonal people are. Why would you think about sex when you're in a condition like that? How? Balance me here real quickly.

@bhes_thenovelist I guess the problem was that I had the Melamina The Queen story on my mind for so long that when it was time to write it, I just came out blank. I forgot all I wanted to write and I decided to just move on rather than dwell too much in it. It's an intense story with a lot of elements that I will finish in my time but for now, taking a break on that story is what's best for mental health.

Baby you have me on chokehold with each update yohh your consistency has me thinking that I'm not writing enoughso much love.❤️

@enhlesa101 very valid and fair , no one talks about how emotional and mentally draining writing can be. Take your time and remember that the story will write itself in end, it'll direct you.❤️
I was/am struggling to get into the headspace of my protagonist lalela I'm chewing cement this side but we soldier on
