I’ve been toying with the idea of writing another paranormal investigator story (more focused on the subject matter than “Pines,” but still as romantic) for sometime now.

I don’t know if there is any interest, but that’s what I’m thinking. Thoughts?

          	Does anyone remember “Pines”?

Thank you to everyone who commented on my last announcement—your support means so much to me.

To be honest, I’ve been dealing with creative burnout for about two years now. As a result, I was not able to attend graduate school as I previously intended (I was accepted at the University of Edinburgh) and have been struggling to write ever since.

I might work on “Chaste” eventually, but in the meantime, I will most likely pursue some other writing interests. The tone of my writing will most likely stay the same for those of you who want to stick around, but if not, I completely understand and appreciate your kind words nonetheless.

Thank you all, and Happy New Year!

just a bit of musing because i don’t know where else to say this. i miss having fun while writing… i’m not sure how it happened, but i’m too serious now— i don’t have any fun :(

if anyone has any ideas for getting back to the joy of it, please (please, please) let me know. i like “chaste” as a story, but writing it is a chore. it’s actually kinda exhausting. i’m debating on just making something silly and keeping some of the old cast (i love hannah dodd) anywho…

          help? :(

@er_oconnor you deserve to take yourself and your writing seriously, but not to the point of creative burnout. Write what you want to read, is what I always say. Perhaps dabble in short stories, even if they're 'just' a chapter or two; you could use the story in your favourite song as a prompt ❤️

@er_oconnor hey please don't make anything silly out of it (plz) . You can keep the book on pause , take a break and then come back to it when you feel motivated enough : )

And I want you to know that I always keep checking my notifications to see if you have updated . As I have said earlier the writing is really good and the fl is not cliche or cringe . So take your time and don't pressure yourself .
I am sure you will come back and write a great book which will have millions of views and even if it doesn't , it will still be a great book . I hope you find the motivation soon :)

            Have a good day
You have grat potential as a writer so GOOD LUCK

I’m not completely happy with Chapter 2 of ‘Chaste’ and therefore, I have taken it down to do revisions. (Welcome to having OCD, everyday is a different problem.) It will be re-posted in a couple of days, along with Chapter 3. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this book is my baby. I have to take care of it.

@User1234xyz Hi! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the book and I will be posting Chapter 3 soon!!

I don’t know any stories specifically like “Chaste” on Wattpad, but you can check out @Moonraess — Her stories are some of my favorites and are extremely well written!

For some real life examples, I love “Outlander”by Diana Gabaldon, and “A Discovery of Witches” by Debora Harkness— these are some of my tonal influences as well as some of my favorite books just in general. I also LOVE “The Crown” on Netflix. The real life royal dynamics and how complicated they are inspired this story. Hope this helps!
