Hey! I saw your comment and thought I’d recommend my story because your reading taste feels really similar to mine ❤️

My book is called Guarded Heart, and it starts with a fun, warm school environment cousins, siblings, teasing, banter, friendship, and found family vibes. Nothing heavy at first just characters growing, bonding, and living their teenage life.

As the story moves forward, the emotional depth starts showing.

The main character, Aria, is a quiet girl who joins a new school. She’s kind, observant and soft, but she also struggles with her past and doesn’t open up easily. She doesn’t trust fast, but once she loves someone, she loves deeply.

Then there’s Shivansh calm, patient, emotionally mature, and protective in a silent way. He’s not the arrogant type he’s the one who sees people and understands them. Their bond starts slow: stolen glances, small conversations, shared silence… and eventually trust.

Around them, there are two more couples forming Rohan & Avni (enemies to lovers energy) and Saavi & Akshat (friends, hidden feelings, tension). The friend group becomes a huge part of the story supporting each other through school chaos, family moments, jealousy, heartbreak, healing and love.

As the chapters progress, the book becomes more emotional and personal. Aria’s past starts affecting her present, and Shivansh steps up not to “fix” her, but to stand beside her while she learns to heal.

So overall, the book has: ✨ slow-burn romance
          ✨ emotional growth and trust-building
✨ friendship, family bonds and comfort
          ✨ supportive male lead
✨ characters with depth and personality
✨ moments that feel warm, soft, relatable and real

If you ever want to try a story that feels like comfort + emotion + slow-burn love, I’d love for you to give Guarded Heart a chance.
No pressure — just sharing in case it matches your vibe ✨

          ***
A king betrayed. A woman accused. A marriage neither wanted.

When Akira is forced into marriage with Agastya, the ruthless Fire King, she expects nothing but a cold, loveless union. Bound by duty and surrounded by whispers of scandal, she vows to prove her innocence before the kingdom swallows her whole.

But Agastya is not the heartless ruler she imagined. Beneath his fire lies a man tormented by secrets, and the closer they are drawn together, the harder it becomes to ignore the flames between them.

As enemies scheme in the shadows and treachery tightens its grip, Akira and Agastya must decide-will they stand united against the storm, or will the fire between them consume everything in its wake?

          ***

Akira stirred as the persistent knocking at the door shattered the fragile quiet of the room.

"Agastya, open the door!" The command was sharp, urgent, cutting through the silence like a blade.

A soft groan escaped her lips as she began to wake. A dull, insistent ache pulsed in her skull, her body feeling strangely heavy, as if weighed down by something unseen. The air felt thick, every movement sluggish and difficult. She forced her eyes open, only to squeeze them shut immediately—the light was too bright, intensifying the pounding in her head.

The room tilted around her, her senses muddled, thoughts slipping away before she could catch them. She took a slow breath, trying to steady herself, and that was when she noticed it—the warmth of another body pressed against hers.

          Her pulse spiked.

Akira's eyes snapped open as realization sank in, her breath hitching at the sight before her. The King.
