Hullo, Coda here.
I want to take this time to thank the readers, silent or otherwise, who have stayed with Salvation, my first attempt at fanfiction.
I spent the better part of this month finally rereading the 93k tome I've been working on off and on for two years now. I edited and took out quite a bit. I think somewhere between 5 and 10k? I'm not a deep editor, so really, it was me applying the things I've learned about format and wording and making the early chapters consistent.
I haven't reread the entire thing in over a year, so I was worried there were endless plot holes. But no. Very minor things that have now been corrected, like the proper names of the kittens and their colors, clothing, and that last phone call with Tenna just kind of disappearing out of nowhere lol.
We have come to November, which is the infamous NaNo. Two years ago, this story began there. It was the first story I began in first person, my first attempt at fanfiction, and my first attempt to write a thematically-romantic story.
While I can't say I will finish it this November, I do plan to spend most of my time working on it, and using other stories as breaks to rejuvenate my creativity. I feel like there's probably 50k more to write, but that is the absolute maximum. I hope it ends sooner, haha.
Anyway, thank you to those who continue to read this ongoing tome. We're on the downward slope. So close to the end.
Hang in there ;P
Have a good November, everyone <3<3
