          	2025 was a year of great experimentation with my writing. I’ll list some of it here:
          
          First attempt at ONC
          Writing a novel in short stories
          Writing a story told in letters
          Working on fluff
          Creating my own audio for my chapters
          
          	In order to move forward, I feel I must first share these projects. I posted the intro pages to Anna’s Story as well as The Yellow Dragon last week. These two simply could not be more opposite in tone lol.
          
          	They are both from my story graveyard, reanimated like Lion and Birth. Guess I’m still in the era for fitting old projects with new forms. (Btw, Birth updated for the month today, too.)
          
          	Anna’s Story is very emotional for me. I honestly believe it has some of my greatest work. I feel myself growing closer to the writer I want to be when I reread it.
          
          	The Yellow Dragon has only just begun, but I adore working on it. I’m really focusing on word choice and setting and keeping it short. Maybe I can put a different colored baby dragon in every project I work on…? We’re at white and yellow, what color should I throw into the Lion universe? Maybe a purple snakey? :P
          
          	I want 2026 to be a year of Short Stories, to usher in the Year of the Fire Horse (viva la revolution, baby!) But I plan to work on finishing Failure and writing Lion’s sequel as well. There’s even a (gasp) Salvation Epilogue I am currently ruining. No worries.
          
          	Not sure if I can finish Failure. Ideally, yes. Realistically….??? I’m both excited and scared of the last two Acts. Failure has reached the over 2-year-mark that makes my impulsiveness to remove it from Wattpad a daily battle. Hopefully, I can fight those impulses and finish it first. 
          
          	Friendship arc, here we come!

          And this month's Birth stories have been uploaded. Can you tell who the heroes are yet?
          
          I'm wondering if being on watt makes me more mentally unstable than it needs to be. Something about going through the motions of posting and promo-ing and all the other -ings have me in a constant loop of wondering what's right and what am I even doing.
          
          Originally, I'd said 2025 would be my last year on watt. Maybe it'll happen in 2026, who knows? I've spent hours the past couple of weeks "readying" everything I wanna share in 2026, but...anyway, happy holidays <3<3 and have a great new year

Chapter 15 of Failure has been posted, ending Act III. 
          
          I’m rereading and performing minor edits, so expect it to sit for a while.

          Time for totally romantic character dynamics, including an exploding building, a chef's hat, a declaration of war, and don't forget the maple syrup!
          
          I have been on vacation from work this week, but unfortunately, my shower drain also decided to take a vacation. We are trying for patience and optimistic cheerleading, and I'm afraid, it's only gotten worse. I guess it's time for the tough love...
          
          Hope everyone's Novembers are going well. I finally got around to reading Kagurabachi, which is a memorable series to me because it was the first new Shonen Jump title I did not read. It marked my waning interest in manga, which has since come back haha.
          
          As expected, I devoured it. Really, all I need for happiness are swords, revenge plots, and adorable misfits. <3<3

Chapter 14 of Failure has posted. 
          
          This project reached 100k this month, and I finished writing Act III. Two more Acts to go, and we're going back into Beckett's head. Yay for anxiety!
          
          I recently learned that there's a limit of 200 chapters per Wattpad book, so now I am worried I'm gonna get to that point XDXD. The downside of making a full-length novel have chapters as close to 1k as I can get XD.
          
          It's hard to believe the end of October is here. I haven't done any Christmas shopping, so I'm anticipating the panic to sink in any day now. Hope everyone has a good rest of their Spooky Season <3

It's my Impulse Era, so why not add a short story anthology as well? 
          
          I'm going on a major binge read of projects I'm continuing in the new year, so I'm kinda throwing as much onto Watt as I can before I recede into oblivion XDXD.

Hi, all, I added a Glossary for The Birth of a Hero, to be updated whenever new terms are added.
          
          Right now, it's updated all the way through Story 14.
          
          Since my novel-in-stories is experimental with a focus on short stories versus plot, I felt some additional help might be needed. I am only updating it once a month, so by the time the stories circle back to a topic, it might be forgotten. Ah, well. 
          
          I don't normally provide glossaries, so we shall see how this one goes. When I add new terms, I think I will make it coincide with postings of new chapters and will mark them in the glossary with an asterisk or something, so they pop out. 
          
          More to think about. Anyway, carry on.

My novel-in-stories has updated for the month! I’ve got three of them this time because one got too long. Last month, the stories introduced the ghostly crumbs, widower Varti, President Burhman’s speechifying, and some dude named Iago. Will we see them again? Yes. 
          
          Anyway, headlining this month’s stories are a very important gal named Pinotta, a fella with a bowler hat, and my personal favorite, the fluffiest cat around. It is time to meet Ruka. 
          
          Hope everyone's doing swell. I've been training a new coworker at work, and I barely get to see my other coworkers anymore so it feels very isolating lol. I haven't felt like doing much, so maybe hibernation season is my destiny this year.

          I had originally thought about posting Failure on the last Saturday of the month, but I think it would be better to have it on the third full week while my new story posts in the first full week of the month. 
          
          I feel like I've barely been present on Watt lately, though I'm doing the same things I always do. This is the difference between posting on a couple days a month versus one chapter a week. So far so good.
