The mortal instruments series, The infernal devices, The Dexter series by jeff lindsay, Harry potter (naturally), The inheritance cycle series (you know eragon), Merridian by amber kizer (i'm yet to read the second book), Lj smith's the vampire diaries, the assassin's creed books by oliver bowden, the hannibal books by Thomas Harris and many more others that i can't recall at the moment.
