a small token of kindness (1st August 2021) 
          
          the sun, from far beyond, smothers your lives with its shadow of honey. and its caramel it allows to melt over some of your soft bread. its rays gleam against the cup of chai you have a hold on and your fingers fumble to capture the aroma a bit. 
          as for the moon, it gazes around a little contentedly, mumbling of the impressions its dreams left in some irises. it dawns oddly curiously upon the abandoned valleys and the blues of all voices as though the song every tear hums was a call for it. 
          
          existing within the world is the tragedy of living. for you must set yourself ablaze to breathe as the sun. 
          
          the two meet, in diverse forms, and in ways blasphemous and secretive. the autumn leaves fill your throat while water aches for its home. the moon is tender and the sun a radiant abyss. and it is the longing of the both that the world finds destructive. 
          
          but in a life of recklessness, however, they still dare to draw themselves close in the form of an eclipse. 
          
          to form your words into threads and beads of joy and hand them over to the ones of your heart is most natural. nevertheless, no matter how beloved or dear, some moments you must spend in kneading the dough or watching the clock play the ticking sound. 
          
          are you aware of why the words are not found in a moment where expansion is required whilst explaining our most beautiful moments? 
          
          perhaps because these memories are yours to preserve. in your heart to die. without a soul to know. 
          
          they are your fountains to watch and memorise each day; with rosewater melodies and paradise getaways. you need not bother about eclipses; they are not always sensible, moreso, from the outside.
