"Why walk, when you can dance?" -said Lúthien Tinúviel, more fair than mortal tongue can tell

Golden age of seventeen (No, my life isn't nearly as fun nor adventurous as Wattpad protagonists make it out to be) Finding my faith in God more and more everyday. City girl at heart, but forever looking to the stars. My spare time is comprised mainly of eating, sleeping, reading, composing shoddy pastiches, and making sure I don't fail my exams. Reader of both fiction and non-fiction. Most common fandoms I've interacted with include anything, but currently I'm mostly a part-time Tolkien fangirl who's still looking for a book that can top the masterpiece of Silmarillion. (And before you ask, I choose Finarfin!) I make a mean cup of tea. That's about all I can make. An interesting little tidbit about me is that my phone albums have a 1 to 200 ratio of actual photos versus pirated images of interplanetary objects. I've frequented Wattpad on multiple accounts since I was young as 9, and thus do recall flashes of the golden era of wattpad before the onslaught of ads, coins, and more schemes to rob people's wallets, but like, legally. When I'm not reading, I love sneaking around the house, playing Hogwarts Mystery, doomscrolling Reddit and Pinterest, watching old Disney movies, making fun of my brother, and being around all forms of nature (Yes, that includes natural disasters). I don't like to call myself an environmentalist but we have many things in common. The only act of elitism I engage in is that I'm staunchly a book purist in my soul. That's all!

Good Christ, why has the Young Adult genre become so dull when I've become an actual young adult? The few ones I still find some measure of enjoyment in are the ones I've read as a young child, infus...
