"Every university has a legend," one senior began, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. "But ours? Ours is a geography lesson and a cautionary tale all in one."
To understand the legend, you have to understand the map of our university. The campuses aren't just split by a road; they are split by a lifestyle.
"Ahh.. that. Do you see that Divide between our campus? Beyond that divide is the Ice Kingdom, the North Campus, aka the Home to STEM, high-rise glass labs, and the "Nexus Cooperation" legacies. It's where the air feels five degrees colder because everyone is too busy calculating trajectories to smile," Daotok, a third-year senior in the Design and Animation department, said.
"And this side, the Flame Kingdom, the South Campus, aka the Faculty of Arts. Historic brick buildings, constant music, and the "North Star" elite. It's vibrant, loud, and smells like expensive espresso and oil paints," Hill, a third-year senior in the Communications Department, said.
Chuckling, Tonfah informed them further, " You know, for decades, the 'Divide'—that long, grassy strip between the two—was an invisible wall. STEM stayed in the North; Arts stayed in the South. Until the Gala of the Equinox."
"After that, the Divide, as of now, is just for a show. It's more of a meeting point rather than a divider."
