@escapist210 Oh my oodness, I don't think I can ever live up to all this praise! I don't even know what to say anymore apart from that I'm really grateful that you gave the book a chance in the first place and stuck with it to the very end!
@The_Mafia_Gal When I first saw 'mafia romance' I thought Russian Gambit could be the typical romance story of rich-baddie-meets-unsuspecting-common-girl.The kind of books which I read when I first joined Wattpad in middle school :P But Gal! This book of yours is simply another level altogether The gripping storyline with such strongly-written characters- be it the anti-hero, heroine or the villains, exquisitely detailed set-up or the unexpected twists and turns(waited with bated breath to read each chapter) it was all so amazingly written. The action scenes were lit!!I could vividly imagine all the scenes in my head.Loved the dangerous romance. And romance thankfully didn't take the centre stage(still waited for the A×S scenes) because you let thriller genre take the lead. Another awesome thing about your writing is that everything seemed to naturally fit in.No scene felt too coincidental and it was so realistic and believable, owing to the sheer amount of research and hardwork you put in despite English not being your native language (neither is mine;) ) Thanks to all this , I skipped assignments and finished reading the whole book in one day( I hope you don't read this, mom :3 ) Eagerly waiting for you to update 'Moscow Winter' Thankyou for this absolutely stunning read! xoxo Socially-distanced-air-hugs and love <3
