I’m muted on the board (sob). Congrats on getting into medical school!! You’ll do amazing and I’m so happy for you!! Undergrad is hard and the requirements are intense and pushing through that is so amazing.
And i have a million questions for you now SORRY IN ADVANCE (you’re not obligated to answer any/few or however many you don’t want to at alll)

2. how did you pick the med schools you were applying to
3. how many hours and experiences do you have and how did you talk about research
how many med schools did you apply to
4. whats the safe spot for mcat
5. did you take any gap years and do those hours count (i’m planning on working full time)
6. what were your extracurriculars and did you have a common theme or did you explore pretty much everything

hii i saw ur recent comments on getaway and its actually so refreshing to see someone with a brain!!!! ive noticed a lot of people who defend nico with their LIVES and excuse all his behaviours dont often give that grace to the female characters, celina especially. its really annoying because nico is a lot of zookahs fanbase’s fav character from the series (i love nico, but i can acknowledge he was sometimes misogynistic and really unnecessarily mean lmaoo) and they have really misogynistic takes on celina and how she acts?? yes she was childish, petty, mean, etc, but so was nico………and a whole lot more at that……….lmfaooo but his d1 defenders refuse to see that and are so quick to pitch in with their misogyny and defend the man cause hes sooo hot!!!!!!! but the women cant get that grace loooooll anyway didnt mean to rant but basically ILY FOR HAVING A BRAIN LMFAO

@leilzze it will take time to completely change a system that has been there for centuries, but as long as women (and men!) keep educating themselves it will be achieved inshallah. It may take decades though. The propaganda is unbelievable. True brainwashing. Sometimes I look at some people spreading misinformation and I can't believe what I'm hearing is real

@leilzze I wish I could live to see it as well, the injustice in this world makes my heart burn. The continuous propaganda against our people, the lies spread in the media, the fact that those responsible for all this oppression are pretty much in control of everything in the world...I can't imagine how different our lives would have been if our countries were never touched. Yes exactly, I can't stay silent when it comes to these topics because I've experienced them first hand. A man can do that, but if a woman does it it's عيب. The double standards are crazy. Unfortunately internalized misogyny is very real, and so common. I hope one day all women will be able to overcome it
