also here to talk about the stranger things finale…SPOILERS AHEAD. 
          
          yea that was shit. 
          
          “nobody has predicted the ending” i’ve seen multiple people predict it btw. 
          
          not only did it feel rushed but it no longer felt like a show about outcasts for the outcasts. also yes we were queerbaited. literally textbook definition queerbaited. mike and el not only did they NOT show romantic affection throughout s5 it felt more platonic and i was absolutely okay with that. to me they seemed better as friends and el deserved someone who could actually be a partner to her. and don’t get me wrong mike is my favorite character like that’s my BOY. and he STILL screams closeted. like WHAT were all those shared looks and brush of the elbows about if he was straight. could’ve been THE BEST closeted character yet we won’t get that through the suffers (yes i said suffers) 
          
          AND NOT ONLY did they completely throw byler away they also got rid of ROVICKIE. THE ONLY CANON QUEER SHIP. why is it that queer characters ALWAYS get the short end of the stick. it’s always a goddamn “i just need to accept myself” trope with them. why can’t they just actually be in loved and be loved in return. like that’s never a thing with straight couples and if it was we wouldn’t have romance movies in the first place. 
          
          byler is bones mileven is bones jancy is bones rovickie is bones. all our favs are bones and im pissed. 
          
          also they did NOT have to give el that ending. i was ready to see my girl LIVE HER LIFE but that shit happened. yea im really pissed. 
          
          only surviving ships were lumax (my babies) and jopper. i love them i do but why couldn’t we just have ONE THING.
