okay so you probably got the notif spam of me updating c&s so quick notice that they’re not REAL updates, I’m just revamping the aesthetic of c&s bc I felt like changing it up a bit. the prologue is the only exception though! I added a short scene there and changed a few things that I didn’t like. but other than that the story remains unchanged :)

year 1 of curses & spells is finally complete! (let's pretend I'm not announcing this almost a week late) 
          after many years of rewriting and procrastinating (literally— it took me like five years to get here which is actually so embarassing but we move on), ariana martens' first year at hogwarts has finally drawn to an end. but we still have six more years to go, so stay tuned because things are going to get more and more interesting as it goes on. 
          in the meantime, I will be editing year 1 as I prep for year 2. nothing big, just minor grammar mistakes and formatting issues (and perhaps one or two continuity issues), but if you get a notif saying I updated c&s it's because of that. also, though I'm so excited to get on with year 2, I also need to focus on school and my university applications and my other writing goals, so it may be a while before I actually upload anything here. 
          anyway, I said all of this in the a/n of the last chapter but I thought why not say it here as well— a big thank you to everyone's who's read c&s, from my best friends to new readers. I appreciate all of you greatly and I hope you'll stick around for year 2 <3
