Angst and intimacy are difficult to write definitely. It’s a thing that’s easier to put into words once you felt it. One of the ways I think might help if you’ve never gone through it is either watch a movie or read a story that has your chest constricting with enough pain and gasping for air while trying to stop tears raining down your cheeks. Once you felt that, immerse and try to put it into words. It doesnt have to be perfect or anything. Your feelings will be felt with readers that can feel it. Not all of them will but you just need the few that do. Dont burn yourself up like that. If it makes your heart constrict with pain when you write it then for sure we’ll feel it too when we read it
