January 5. It's an important day to me for two reasons. 
          
          First and foremost, it's my best friend's birthday. @CrystalJJohnson - if you hadn't been born... my life would be incomplete and I am not exaggerating. There would be so much missing and so much I'd have never done. Like this whole writing journey thing. I'd never be where I am if it weren't for you because I would NOT want to do this without you! I love you, best friend! 
          
          And that brings me to the other reason January 5 is important. It's my Wattpad anniversary. I joined in 2018. SEVEN YEARS ago. I. cannot believe it's been that long since I made this account and posted Trust (well, I technically started posting on the 12th). I had no idea what I was doing, had never heard of this app before, but I took the leap. I never thought it would add up to anything. In fact, I am pretty certain I said to the person who told me about it, "I don't think anyone will ever read my book, but at least I put it out there." Now Trust has almost 400k reads, and I've written six other books on my own, two of which are in the WP Originals program. That's not even to mention the journey I've taken with Crystal. That's where everything REALLY kicked off. But NONE of it would have happened if it weren't for eternalfelicity, where my profile pic used to be a koala because I was anonymous and afraid for people IRL to find me. 
          
          Thank you, Wattpad, for the past seven years. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be doing what I love today. <3 And thank you to every person out there who has read one of my books. Without you, I don't think I would have found the confidence to keep going in the early days. Y'all are the best.
