Hey, everybody!
I wanted to make an actual announcement and apologize for being away for so long. I work in EMS and it’s been one huge thing after another. LA was on fire, then an idiot became president, and then that same moron decided to defund (countless important things) and put ridiculous tariffs on supplies that fund hospitals and help patients with their insurance, access to care, medications, housing, and so many other things that I just have not had much time—or, more honestly, the emotional capacity to even look at my google docs for more than around 15minutes. Even chapters that I’ve had planned, and mostly written, are just collecting dust as they wait for my uninspired self to get a grip on something.
That being said, I am still working, even though it is so goddamn slow. I’d like to personally thank everyone who commented on the community board to make sure I was still alive, and everyone still giving love to my story even though it’s been so long. I see you, I appreciate you, and I promise you will be rewarded as soon as I can deliver something I’m proud of again.
Also, especially with how much I believe racism is becoming louder and more prominent once again in all types of media and in the outside world, as a black person, I would also love to write a story with the weight of what that can feel like and hopefully connect with more people within my community, connect with other communities of color in how we can feel so similar at times, and just bring more representation even in fanfiction—no matter how crazy that sounds.
To conclude, even though I’m more focused on making a change outside of writing for now, please trust that I am working on delivering and maintaining my current story and other future works. Thank you so much!

And god you're right rascism and sexism has gotten insane ever since that duck. I dont live in US but shit here gets so much influence from there.
