It's been a while since I last updated Before I Knew Who I Was. During that time, I made it to Round 3 of the Open Novella Contest 2026, which was a huge encouragement. Unfortunately, I was also dealing with challenges at home that made it difficult to focus on writing.
          
          I've always believed that good writing requires attention, honesty, and presence, and for a while I wasn't in the right place to give this story what it deserved.
          
          But I'm back.
          
          Over the coming weeks, I'll be releasing new chapters, and I believe they're some of the strongest chapters I've written so far. The story is about to go deeper into Ethan's journey, his struggles, discoveries, and the moments that shaped who he became.
          
          Thank you to everyone who stayed, read, voted, commented, and waited patiently. This story isn't finished yet.

Life (and school) temporarily kidnapped me  but I’m finally back to writing. Thanks for your patience and for not giving up on this story. New chapters coming soon.
