Life moves fast. Soon you will be old and only regret the chances you did not take. I must tell you from experience that your dear friends matter. You have to do whatever it takes to not drift away from them. With your friends, do what you truly want to do with your life. Don't focus on the consequences, but live for your happiness. Take the risk, because later in life you'll regret the chance you did not take. As I grow up from 14 I realize more and more how important it is to make memories and spread happiness. I have done crazy things, and created new stories to remember even when I'm old. Every dollar I make goes towards having a good time, and making the best out of my life as possible. My family and many others I know always tell me I will be hit hard later in life, and will eventually regret my decisions, but I keep going. I will always remember something my father told me as he was growing sick. "Materialistic things come and go, but your dreams are always there." I tear up remembering it, because I know he truly wanted to do the things he never got to do. He followed what other people told him to do, and he was constantly stressed out, worried, and money was the goal. What stuck with me is that the money he saved will not matter, but his memories he wrote down will. If anyone reading this is suffering, and does not know the path to follow, take a risk. Our dreams are what really matter, and we must follow them. Life gets in the way, and many opportunities are wasted because of distractions and challenges we may be going through. Keep pushing. I am going to try to make the best out of my life, and my goal is to be happy, and not regret a single thing I've done with this life I have been blessed with. Our memories is what we will remember 30 years from now, not how much money we spent or our bad grade on a test. "The most dangerous risk of all is spending your life not doing what you want on the bet that you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later."
