a token of kindness (16th July 2021)

have you ever heard of how we must sow seeds of kindness everywhere we go? and nurture them and give them utmost importance so that the world can benefit?
but then, have you noticed that they always speak of the positive seeds and not the negative ones?
were you ever told to lighten your pain, the anguish in your heart, by venting it out to somebody? were you not told to cry it out and let it go?

that is undoubtedly a very simple and effective solution but not all pains are just as plain. and if that is the case, where then can one find solace?

this is why, i believe firmly, that every seed-good or bad- needs to be sown. the good ones are to be watered and given love to. and the bad ones should be left to the soil, where they best belong.

inorder to clear your system, you must learn the art of burying both the good and the bad. what good would it do to you if you sowed all the good seeds taking home with you only the unpleasant ones?

you are here to feel and bury, not carry. life is not a burden, it is a relaxing walk with the setting sun. and if anything attempts to push you to the dark, you must remember that light from within you will be your guide.

a small token of happiness (15th July 2021)

did anyone ever teach you that the shine of the sun today is not the same as yesterday? and the chirping of the birds is not the same either. the hours were different too, although they were illusioned to seem alike.
thus is the tragedy of life.
a beautiful tragedy of every second being unlike the other.
why do i think it is a tragedy? simply because we lose it all too effortlessly as though it is useless to cherish.
you might then ask: what huge difference does a second hold from another of its kind?
the same that you and i share; we are all human beings, what difference then should be within us that categories us into various genders and ethnicities?
the yesterday that you lost without a single thought of utilising it to your benefit will never return. but the same mistake cannot be repeated.
yesterday's uniqueness will not return but let not the guilt eat away your today.
be satisfied with what you have right now and make these hours and minutes the most worthwhile.
the "you" you saw yesterday and the "you" you see today are different as well.

which is why you are precious because in today's world, you lose yourself more than you gain.
