Evan Richardson has been writing for over twenty years with a body of work that includes plays, screenplays, a musical GUYS for which he wrote the libretto, music and lyrics, plays, a children’s adventure book, and a memoir: THE STAR SHINER: Memoir of a Celebrity Makeup Artist, published by McFarland & Co., May, 2013.

Evan received a BFA degree at University of Kentucky with further studies at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. His writing training in NYC has been at Marymount Manhattan College, New School University, and the New Dramatists, with playwright studies with playwright/teacher, Jeffrey Sweet. 

Evan's musical, GUYS has had 5 staged readings presented in NYC by the National Music Theatre Network and the Genesis Guild.
