@evanschris- - Hey Author! I just finished reading BAD HABITS and I genuinely loved it! The way you include song lyrics in each chapter is so immersive. The graphics and gifs add such a unique vibe, and even the chapter titles feel intentional and meaningful. I also really admire how detailed you are when telling the story — the small moments, emotions, and character dynamics feel so thoughtfully written.
          
          I appreciate the chapter lengths and how they flow together too. At the beginning, I’ll be honest — I kept thinking, dang… why does Lenore hate Clark this much? But as I kept reading, the layers slowly started coming together and everything started making more sense.
          
          I honestly can’t wait for the moment when Lenore and Clark finally become fully honest with each other — when they’re vulnerable and share their fears, embarrassing stories, and real feelings. Just them, no walls. I’m also hoping Lenore and Miles get a heart-to-heart conversation so they can leave things on good terms.
          
          And Lenore and Lana’s friendship is so sweet. Seeing it from Lana’s POV and how much she values Lenore always being there for her was beautifully done. I’m really excited to learn more about Auguste — how he died and how it affected Clark and Lana’s friendship back then. I love that you’re taking your time revealing everything. 
          
          You’ve kept the originality of the series while still making it your own, which is amazing.
          
          I’m also curious — will Lenore ever learn how to physically defend herself? Maybe boxing, archery, something like that? And when she meets Lois… will they get along? 
          
          And about the structure of the story — are you planning for the first book to cover Seasons 1–5 and the second book to cover Seasons 6–10? I’d love to know how you’re planning to break that down!
          
          Lastly, I saw your notes at the end of some chapters — I really hope your situation gets resolved soon. Stay safe and warm.

            as for your questions, yes, lenore will learn to defend herself but i’m keeping that arc for later because there’s a few surprises coming at the end of season 1!!! i want to explore her powers a bit more and see how that can influence her in a fight, but so far for weapons, i see her as more of a sara lance than an oliver queen (but lenore will not become a superhero in this fic! my main objective while writing this was that though i wanted lenore to use her powers to defend herself, i wanted her to have an identity outside the justice league, and a different one from clark) i have noticed that a lot of superhero fics end up with the oc becoming a hero etc and i wanted to write lenore from more of a civilian’s perspective!! she will have her heroic moments but she will eventually get the normalcy i want to portray her craving (the girl has already been through enough, making her a hero isn’t fixing her, only therapy is)
            
            and since your message is so sweet i wanted to let you know the title — GOOD RIDDANCE !! hopefully i will get to it in the next decade (jk, i hope)

omg tysm for this message!!! you truly just made my day <333 tysm for reading and i’m sooo glad you’re liking it!
            ahh finally i’m being recognized for those titles (im super proud of some of them lol) bad habits is truly the one book i completely planned and wrote very passionately (until i hit the 150k mark lol so now im taking a huge break) and lenore is basically my daughter now haha!! 
            lenore and clark being completely honest is going to be a long road i wont lie !! they are two stubborn idiots and usually when one is ready to share, the other one starts to pull away — but rest easy because i assure you, one day they WILL grow up (hopefully)
            also lana is one of my favorite characters to write and since im changing up her plot (since her relationship with clark will no longer happen bc obvi my girl would never do that to lenore) im so excited for everyone to read it!! 
            also auguste… ah my boy, truly gone too soon
