You know what I need right about now? A good ol’ fashioned and cozy roommates to lovers imagine with Chris. You open the story with the reader finishing a book or a series (Heated Rivalry could be good for this) and Chris is like, “what’d you think?” And she’s like, “it was good.” However, something in her tone or demeanor seems off so he asks if she’s okay. She eventually rambles about how much she wants love like that but has no interest in dating because she doesn’t want to get her heart broken again by one sided crushes and is sick of feeling like she’s unworthy of love in the first place. He then suggests that she can lean of him- it doesn’t have to be a big deal or anything, he can just be a body to keep her warm. She agrees. Maybe theres some time skips to different moments, like cuddling up and talking about deep sh*t until one of them falls asleep, baking together (perhaps banana bread bc of Heated Rivalry #iykyk and even though I hate smoothies, I love banana bread), they’re blasting music and singing to their hearts’ content, stuff like that. And THEN…they’re in bed watching a movie or something and at one point, Chris asks, “Can I kiss you?” (Which would have a little exposition in front of it about their agreement here). She looks at him for a while, scans his face, and says, “Yeah” or nods. They kiss, its soft and sweet, and then he confesses about his feelings and then when he rambles on about if she doesn’t like him back, he’d understand and go back to normal, she interrupts him by kissing him again which catches him by surprise and there’s little moans that come out of him as he kisses back. She confirms that the feelings are reciprocated and her revelations during this period of time and she wants to give this a shot but taking it slow. He accepts and all is happy and good and everything.
