Assalamualaikum Sadaf,
Your book - The Silent Devotion, is exactly what the name suggests, the way you've written every part, giving every piece of the book it's own time, be it Seher longing for Hamdaan, or Haider yearning for Seher for 15 years, every part so well written that I couldn't not write this review.
In the first part where Seher broke down while standing in Salah, my goodness I kid you not, that was when I understood how difficult it is for a person to let go of someone they've loved all their life. The way she kept hurting everytime she saw Hamdaan and Amal together but understood letting go was the best for her, and then her healing phase which she still is in, it reminded me of the saying "Mature enough to let go, but Human enough to care".
Talking about Haider, sometimes it physically hurt in my chest to see him hurting so much everytime he saw Seher looking at Hamdaan with those longing eyes, and then watch her break when she saw Amal and Hamdaan together, while his own heart was yearning for her.
Then after everything had finally calmed down, Seher suddenly got into an accident, which not only almost-killed Seher, but Haider as well, but thankfully she was saved.
And now, when Haider can finally have Seher, he still waited, waited for her to heal completely, waited for her heart to heal, his Rabb finally said "Kun" to all of his prayers, and let his father be the roadmap to reach the love of his life.
Everything fell so perfectly, so rightly timed, so unhurried, and it does not fail to make you remember that everything written here is set to be in a world that's fictional, and exists only in your imagination.
And lastly, I just love how their faith in Allah's qadr doesn't falter, how firm their belief is, how they always remember that Allah's got them, and He is never gonna leave them astray.
God, this is getting so long, I'll end it here TT, amazing work Sadaf, please never stop writing. May Allah bless you a lot.

@seherverse Wa alaikum assalam!!

Ya Allah... This truly warmed my heart.

My words wouldn't be enough to thank you. You didn't just read the story—you felt it. You felt their pain, their suffering, and lived every moment with them. And honestly, that's exactly what I hoped my readers would do. Thank you so, so much for treating this book with so much love and understanding.

Yes, love can be painfully beautiful, and I've tried my best to portray that. They both yearned, they both suffered in silence, and now, in sha Allah, they'll finally heal together.

Once again, thank you for this beautiful message and your heartfelt wishes. May Allah bless you abundantly and reward you for all the love and support you've given to this book.

JazakAllahu Khair. This truly means everything to me ❤️

Assalamualikum.
Woww...your writing really forced me to come here and appreciate your work.
What a rollercoster these last 3 chapters were.
I love your comic timing yaar. I go back and read the same thing twice doubling over in laughter.
May Allah award you also for the immaculate way you describe the Quran verses. Thank you for passing that knowledge too
Eagerly waiting for the next update.
          Take care sis.
