Carmen Areola is an aspiring criminal investigator. She attends intermediate school in the Californian suburbs. She enjoys visiting relatives in Texas and Northern California. Her ideas come from real life and her experiences.

Her passion for writing comes from her mother, a former English teacher. She hopes to publish a book one day, along with being a singer-songwriter and artist.

Currently, Carmen is working on a mystery short called The Girl Next Door.
