I HATE posting twice on the same day.... But I forgot to post last week, and would love to end 2022 with the END of my little prequel to my comic. That was really fun to write, and a great exercise to get those characters down. If you read that work and enjoyed it, please let me know! Those characters are super dear to me.
          	
          	Admittedly, though, I expect some things might feel under-explained and that's because that work is a prequel for a piece that won't be out for a while (we'll see). I know that's no excuse, works should stand on their own... But I wrote it more for myself to have fun, as well as to prove to myself that I can still write a story, than for anything else. Whatever. I had fun. <3 Happy New Year, and here's to creating so much more this year! <3

Hello! I'm so excited to announce that I'm finally working on my next project, a horror romance! A prequel for it will be coming out sometime this OCTOBER! I'm so SUPER excited to finally be posting again! See you all this Halloween season! This work will contain artwork by myself and my partner, which I'm super pumped to begin sharing with you all! It’s absolutely beautiful. You are an amazing artist who deserves to have your work published, adapted, talked about, praised. I Was God Once has quickly become my favorite works ever, if not my favorite, and I appreciate the hard work it must have taken to craft such a moving narrative. Your talent and dedication blows me away.

I’m going to try; I’ve been working on a story for years and it just keeps changing and rewriting itself in my head, so perhaps this is the nanowrimo I’ll finally get it done? Who knows!

So like I read I Was God Once a long time ago by the time you were updating the last chapter. But I have something to say and I have been silent for so long......so I'm just going to say it straight.....
          
          I DO NOT LIKE HOW IT ENDED
          How can you make Edward die.....that's mean.....do you know how shocked I was....I started to cry....thinking about it now still makes me want to cry......it's mean......i was 13 when I read it and now I'm 14.....I recommend the book to everyone but that's me being mean also cuz Edward dies at the end.....and how can you just end it like that....not even a consolation.......so please at least as per a request from a distraught fan of your book.....please bring a part 2 where Edward is alive....thank you

@blvck4321 AWW.... I'm so sorry. While I'm glad the book had an effect on you, I am sorry you felt un-consoled. To be honest, the ending is what I wanted and felt was best. Although, Edward is alive at the end? Did you see the "END" chapter? Edward is alive, and it's technically not confirmed that he will never see Adam again.... :O

So I just finished reading I Was A God Once and it had to be one of the best books that I have read on here. It was a rollercoaster but it was an amazing book. I loved reading it. I loved how the writing was and the descriptions in the book. Thank you for writing this book.

I just finished reading I Was God Once, and it broke me.  It was incredible, and I added it to My Favorites list. Please tell me you intend to publish this because I want it for my bookshelf.  It takes an amazing, completed story to make that list and of all the books I have read, there are only 2 that have been added to it. It was powerful, unique, and well written, and I look forward to seeing what else you can come up with. Well done!

@hamletmustdie you're very welcome. You deserve the praise. As far as publication goes, you can always self-publish. It has its own hurdles, but it's worth looking into. Do your research, look into writing contests, edit or have someone you trust edit it so it's ready for publication. A lot of contests are backed by publication companies and they use them to find new prospects. There are ways to get ahead and I believe that your book will get a lot of attention.

@shera1513 Wow, thanks so much for these kind words! The publishing world is brutal, so it's been slow going, but we'll see! Perhaps someday - or maybe I'll grab some attention on here? If only I were so lucky!
