Honestly I read both books and loved them only to be slightly disappointed by the fact that there isn't currently another sequel. I look forward to reading that one too... They were wonderfully written and it took me to the time I had my first heart break it was bitter sweet..

I’m just—only to feel this fully was everything. The title brings me to frickin tears, because I feel so hollow when I think about it and then I re-read your book and things are beautiful again.

(Btw the fact that you know who Ocean Vuong is (One of my favorite poets) completly steals my heart)
I love voung I always think of this little part “when does a war end? When can I say your name and have it mean only your name and not what you left behind? “ and after the end and knowing there’s a sequel I find it so fitting
