@ex1stential_cr1sis I just shade in a shape and add coils/curls inside of it. I start with shading values and such, kinda just do it like straight hair before adding the texture and strands.

@ex1stential_cr1sis Thats a great point. Id just like to point out that women of color or white did have to fight for rights too. Which is what Women's history month (march) is for.
