( @extremecases ) Being the type of person she was , Luna wasn't exactly comfortable sharing information about her life with people she barely knew … but with him it was different. She felt oddly comfortable with telling him about what happened during that time of her life - sooner or later she would figure out why though . " Being seventeen was the absolute worst honestly ." the brunette started off . " all of my brothers had already moved out and I was stuck with my dad - which he was an absolute dick by the way . It's always been like that since my mother , Mary , died ." she told him before taking another sip of her drink and sighing . " It's like he hates me for absolutely no reason ? Like what the hell did I do to make you hate me so much ? I used to make up excuses ... saying that he probably couldn't stand me since I looked so much like my mom and he couldn't stand seeing my face . Then again - he was a drug addict ." she mumbled the last part . He was the reason why she changed up her entire persona , just to have people hate her more - he was the cause of all of her problems including her alcohol addiction that she would probably never be able to shake off ; and she resented him for that . " He even had the nerve to hide a letter that my mom wrote for me - two weeks before she died . I found it hidden in the attic and I couldn't help but hate him even more ." she said. just ranting about this made her feel better , but she always wondered why she had to go through such a crappy situation.

@bloodyagcnts ; A moment of quietness passed as Derek simply listened. He enjoyed listening to people, especially ones like Luna who had a lot on their minds. They were complex, and interesting. Often lost, like himself. He liked getting to know people, it was part of what he enjoyed about his job. He wasn't even on the clock right now but he was always thinking like he was. "Did anything in particular happen during that time?" the therapist asked, watching her curiously as he took another drink. "You don't have to get into it if you don't want, but seventeen is a specific age to point out." He remembered when he was seventeen. He hated it. That was the year he did the most training to become a soldier for the wrong organization, but he was more curious to learn about Luna. He felt a strange connection to her, though he couldn't figure out why. She was just different to him, someone he actually enjoyed being around. Those were very rare.

( @extremecases ) " thank you . " Luna said as she grabbed the drink taking a sip. This was something she definitely should have stopped at least two years ago , but she just couldn't manage to stay sober for that long. Maybe if she wasn't so messed up she wouldn't be like this . " Sanity is definitely something I haven't had since I was like .... Seventeen." The brunette chuckled. It was true - it seemed as if that was her actual breaking point . And it was .It was nice having a drinking buddy around though , it felt nice .
