. . . what is our government doing? it's midnight, i'm sleep deprived and now this? my brain isn't even wholly awake to register this but hey, apparently the answer to violence is MORE violence. our loyalty towards Paris is important, but it doesn't require bombs to show this. after more than 10 hours debating this in the Commons, we (as in the British government) are now fully committed to participate against "IS" in Syria + Iraq. the majority of MPs were FOR this. there is a lot of wishful thinking and assumptions going into this, and i don't want to go into too much detail bc i'm just rambling right now, but . . . !

@vinyl- YES, the whole situation is just so . . . ugh! that is a great metaphor bc yes, at the end of the day, they're both going to get burnt (god, i love that)! what i don't love though, is how they actually set off the first bomb merely hours after this decision and just !!! there's literally no other way to solve this other than violence? other than bombs? hmm. xoxo
