@tidemaker That's a really great prediction! I agree with a lot of what you said. Really strong prediction's. With the way the story was heading at the end, I think these things could happen. Like, I think Arin might have a affair with the queen (even though I really, really don't want him to), but it would make sense. He's trying to get over Kestrel, building his alliance with... I-can't-think-of-the-name-at-the-moment people, and getting his people's freedom. But when Arin finds out what Kestrel sacrificed for him, he's goning do anything to get her back for sure. I'm wondering the same thing; how is Marie going to tie in the moth? Will Arin get it and will he finally understand the truth? Or will he, like you said, think it's Rasha? Maybe he'll get it, think it's her, and confront her about it. And when she tells him, it's not her, he'll know it can only be one other person and he'll go in search of her, discovering Kestrel is in the work camps... Omg, I just need the third book already!
@ariesandmachines he's going to seek revenge on the Emperor (and possibly Kestrel's dad too) bc when he finds Kestrel, she's fatally wounded and nearly dying from work camp (is that where she went?? idk anymore) I just hope he doesn't think the moth Kestrel sent to him was given by Rasha (omfg, I forgot their names already :( )
@ariesandmachines Dude, I have a prediction: Arin and his allies (dammit, I forgot who they are) are getting stronger in terms of weaponry and military-wise. So, they march onto the Emperor and demand that he frees the Herrani. To get himself out of that situation, the Emperor tells him about Kestrel, how she agreed to marry Verex to protect the Herrani, how she twisted the plan so less people will die, so on and so forth. Then he will tell him that Kestrel is in work camp because she was charged of treason against the the Emperor. Arin vows to find her. When he does find her, she's fatally wounded and nearly dying. Tho, I'm not sure this will happen bc Kestrel sent the moth to Arin via a Herrani HAHAHAHA, so idk :))
