“has the hero course truly helped you improve  at all then?! i loooovveee learning about this stuff and getting people’s opinions!” umi laughed, hands on her hips. “me? aha, i’m in the support course. i really really like it, though! i’ve learned so much!!”

            chuckling nervously , the girl brought a hand to the back of her neck , rubbing it in response . “ well , sure . i am from class 1-a , although i wouldn’t say that the hero course is what makes me powerful , though , ” she admits bashfully , a curious look in her eyes . “ what about you ? what class are you in ? ”

“heyyy!! what were you thinking about, huh?! must’ve been important!” she huffed out, bead tilting to the side just slightly. “aaannyywaaayy, i wanted to ask if you wanted anything! i’m gonna order some food since i’m hungry, so..” she trailed off.

            isuzu appeared to be brought back to reality thanks to umi’s outburst , blinking in confusion as her emerald hues now focused on the other . “ huh ? oh .. i-i’m sorry ! what is it , shizuka ? ” 

she grinned, clasping her hands in front of her happily. “that makes me so happy to hear!! i was only speaking the truth!” umi said confidently, nodding her head a few times. “me?! wah, you flatter me, honestly!” she cried, looking away quickly.

            a light blush formed on the girls freckled cheeks , shyly waving her hands at the compliment . “ ah , you’re too kind ! i wouldn’t say it was out of line .. in fact , i-i really appreciate it ! ” she exclaims , bowing her head slightly to show her appreciation . “ y-you are quite beautiful as well . thank you so much for your compliment , truly . ”

            “ yeah , sorry i’m late . thank you so much for having me , uraraka !! i bet we’re going to have so much fun . ” isuzu smiles warmly as she set down her belongings for their girls night in together . shuffling through her bag , she took out a variety of pastries and snacks for them to enjoy . “ oh— sure ! that sounds like a great idea . i brought us some snacks to try .. and i baked some fresh cookies for you , which is why i showed up a little later than expected .. b-but i hope you like them ! let’s search for a movie !! ”

            at his question her expression shone brightly , full eagerness to share information about her quirk . her mouth opened to reply , hesitation pulling her back in the nick of time . how was she supposed to explain the drastic differences of her quirk compared to izuku’s ? they were not similar at all .
            
            thanks to her quick thinking , she found a decent enough reason as to why that must be . she smiled warmly to the other , feeling comforted by a student outside of her class wanting to learn more about her . “ well .. not really . i have a flame-related quirk , just like our father . but .. izuku must have skipped a generation with his quirk . y-yeah ! his quirk is similar to our grandparents’ . ”

               watching the embarrassment spit itself all over her face, he couldn't help the soft snicker that fell from his lips. oh how he loved hitting a nerve every so often. listening to her get her words across, he knew this was infact, a midorya sibling. “  ah, alright then. so, do you have a quirk similar to his? ”  not all cases did siblings have the same quirk, but they would have something similar.

            seconds later , her hands are held up dismissively , frantically waving about while she tries to explain herself . “ w-well yeah ! i mean .. i’m not izuku ! he .. does have a sister . ” why were first impressions always so hard ? a sigh escaped her lips , emerald hues trailing down to the ground . “ named isuzu .. midoriya .. hehe .. ” well that was awkward .
