Fable

Been getting really into Corpse Husband fics (ideal since I'm already a huge fan) so I might try writing some myself!
          
          Just a side note to begin with. Corpse has specifically said it makes him uncomfortable when people write smut about him/involving him/etc so PLEASE stop writing smut about him. Tbh it's kinda gross to write smut about real human beings anyway, but especially real human beings who really don't want to have smut written about them. Specifically posting this to ask that if anyone requests a fic about Corpse, it will NEVER go further than like kissing (tbh I'm asexual, so I'm also not comfy writing smut as is).

Hi friends. Just wanted to make a brief statement, which will be posted both in the book itself and as a general announcement.
          
          Recently it has become clear that Ms. Rowling is pretty clearly against transgender individuals. For those who don't know, she made some unfortunate remarks on Twitter and firmly agreed with a woman who claimed to have been wrongfully fired after saying a lot of transphobic comments in the workplace.
          
          Now I love Harry Potter. I have for a very long time. But this is not the first time that the woman who created my greatest literary love has made a statement of some kind that made me deeply uncomfortable. Personally, I am Bisexual, and have several people in my life who I care about very deeply who happen to be transgender. So seeing a woman I idolized for much of my life, (particularly during some of the worst moments of my life) have such a negative view of a topic so near and dear to my heart is genuinely upsetting.
          
          I want to make it clear that I, as a writer of Harry Potter fan fiction do not agree with these statements (and frankly most of what J. K. Rowling has to say on Twitter relating to these books). I write these as a tribute to the story itself, not the person who wrote it.

          So, explanation time
          
          I've been in the hospital for about a week for some mental health issues. I'm doing okay, but it's meant that I haven't had access to my phone or laptop for at least another week. I'm trying to write more while I'm in there, but it's hard to write in detail when I can't google anything!

          So I was just looking at my fic, since I've been getting a lot more comments on it recently, and I noticed that I have 1.23k VIEWS AND 40 VOTES. NOT TI MENTION THE 13 COMMENTS.
          
          I'm literally crying right now. Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to write something that even one person liked. And I was completely amazed when my Ben Fankhauser fic hit like 150 views, and now it's at OVER A THOUSAND. WHAT??!?!?!
          Seriously, I want to thank you all for even reading it, let alone enjoying it. I'm so appreciative of every single one of you who've read it. I love you all!
