i’m still on the fence about writing smut despite the tag on ao3 but if i do, there 100% wouldn’t be anything lore important and there will be a warning in the title and chapter! thank you for loving smoke signals

the terms and conditions say any book that’s made specifically for smut would be taken down, i understood that they won’t take any stories with erotica IF they have a plot so i plan on staying unless they take my story down which i hope doesnt happen, either way im updating frequently on both

I love Smoke Signals very much but concerns from the public has me wondering if I should rewrite it and cast someone else as the main lead. The topic of inherent problematic tropes within white and native relationships shouldn’t be ignored but I first want to ask readers their thoughts. Would anyone be interested in an oc x little puma arranged marriage fic? the female lead would be, of course, native. This fic could potentially be deleted, and i’m still wondering if anyone’s native, what their feelings are regarding this topic.

Please do not delete it, smoke signals is amazing and you’ve done an excellent job at being respectful through your writing (I especially appreciated the chapter titled ‘important’ and author’s notes at the end of chapters where you spread awareness —really goes to show that there is a way to write these kind of relationships while keeping in mind and respecting the heaviness of certain topics which are just inherent in these relationships like you said) (idk if any of that made sense but just know you’re doing a wonderful job).
